Fishing Tackle
We provide quality spinning & baitcasting reels (left & right-handed), 13 Fishing Rods & Reels, the latest artificial lures from DOA Lures & Snag Proof, sunscreen, rain gear, ice, bottled water, and regular & diet soft drinks. Live bait is an extra expense and can be purchased the morning of the trip. When you book a charter, we supply all of your fishing tackle, rods, reels, & lures. However, please feel free to bring your own if you like. Here is a review of some of the tackle provided by Chuck Pippin on the boat. Each guide will have their own gear. All of it professional-grade equipment. All guides will have either bait casters or spinning reels.

13 Fishing Concept “Z” Casting Reels
The first-ever high-performance casting reel manufactured with zero ball bearings. Smooth reel that bomb casts. Most of our guests say they love how well this reel fits in their hand. At the end of a long day their hands do not cramp up and their arm isn’t tired. This is due to the ergonomics and lightweight of the reel. Another important feature is the drag settings and that this reel has zero ball bearings.
13 Fishing Casting & Spinning Rods
The perfect balance between form and function. Super lightweight for long days and very sensitive. The rods and reels are custom matched for whatever bait you happen to be throwing that day. You will immediately notice how much feel you get from these rods. You can almost feel the bass looking at your lure. Our guests love the lightweight and castability even in strong winds.

Meet Our Guides

Captain Chuck Pippin
Founder/Head Guide
I began my career as a Bass fishing guide in 1997 on West Lake Toho and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, during my junior year at the University of Central Florida. After graduating, I moved to Clewiston, Florida and spent 5 years as a guide at Roland Martin’s Marina on Lake Okeechobee. During this time, I began my career as a professional tournament angler fishing both the FLW Tour and the B.A.S.S. Southern Opens. In October of 2002, I moved back to the Orlando Florida area to continue my guiding career on West Lake Tohopekaliga, the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes and other Orlando area lakes. To this day, I continue to do approximately 300+ charters per year. I still thoroughly enjoy the sport of Bass fishing.

Captain Lee Smith
FLW and B.A.S.S tournament Pro
Growing up I was always on the water, whether it be fishing or crabbing my family and I were always on the Chesapeake Bay, so when I decided to stop playing baseball in college after a devastating knee injury, it was easy for me to find my next love, FISHING! After my first year of college, I chose to transfer to the University of Central Florida and study Criminal Justice. While at UCF I fished competitively for two years for their collegiate fishing team, traveling the country and fishing in FLW and B.A.S.S tournaments. After two seasons with the UCF Bass Team, I decided to leave tournament fishing and take my passion for fishing to a different level that incorporated teaching and sharing my knowledge and love of fishing with others. So I became a guide

Captain Jason Lowe
Cedar Key Fresh/Saltwater Pro
Jason grew up fishing….from bass in the fresh waters of Central Florida to Redfish, Trout, Cobia and Sharks in the salt water of Cedar Key, he loves being on the water. He loves sharing what he has learned with others. He feels blessed to have been able to enjoy the outdoors and loves sharing that with others. He loves seeing the excitement of people catching fish and enjoying the outdoors.
“One More Cast” is one of his favorite sayings. It is always about the unknown of what that next cast holds, it could hold the fish of a lifetime or it could hold our thoughts captive so you reel in and make “one more cast”.

Captain Justen Moore
Professional Bass Guide Over 21 Years
I have guided in the Central Florida since 1998. I guide only in freshwater and concentrate on fishing specifically for largemouth bass. I feel this gives me an advantage over those whose choose to split time between fresh and saltwater because allows me to stay on top of the fish when they move. I have also guided in Alaska from 2001 to 2008 during the summer months and was the head guide at Brooks Lodge from 2004 to 2008.

Captain Jay Turner
Professional Bass Guide Over 25 Years
Captain Jay has been a professional bass guide for over 25 years on the most popular lakes and rivers in Central Florida. Captain Jay has been a professional, full time bass guide for the entire time. Captain Jay does not have a part time job, or a secondary career. His primary focus for the 25 years was becoming a leading bass guide and operating one of the most successful bass guide services in Central Florida.
